A Flemish Favorite! Steamed in beer, with shallots and herbs.

 

Belgian Baked Oysters

Fresh oysters, poached with chopped shallots and parsley, baked on the half shell with a bread crumb topping until piping hot.

Half a dozen or a dozen, served with cocktail sauce and and lemon.

 

For the Main Course… 

 

Carbonnade A La Flamande

Beef tips, braised in wheat beer and caramelized onions. Accompanied with vegetable of the day and belgian fries.

 

Flemish Style Stuffed Pork Chops

First seared, then baked with a tart apple and walnut stuffing.  Served with vegetable of the day and belgian fries.

 

Wooden Head Salmon

Fresh filet of salmon rolled around a tomato, mushroom and shallot filling, poached in a rich beer anddijonstock and highlighted with fresh cilantro butter.  Served with vegetable of the day and belgian fries.

 

And for dessert…

 

Belgian Waffle

Drizzled with chocolate glaze and topped with whipped cream and strawberries.
